Self care isn't just for Sundays

It’s so important to take care of yourself (physically and mentally), especially during the current times.


We all have responsibilities so, it can’t be ALLLLL the “me” time, ALLLLL the day BUT, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with taking time (even 15 minutes) for yourself throughout the day.


Step away from your responsibilities for a little bit of time dedicated 100% to YOU.


It could be reading, REALLY ENJOYING a cup of coffee, scrolling through Tik Tok, working on a craft, watching a bit of your favourite show — anything that brings you JOY.


It’s really easy to get caught up in the things we “HAVE” to do and “HAVE” to get done RIGHT AWAY. But, from my experience, this only makes you feel overwhelmed and leads you down the path to burnout.


Step away.


If you can’t do 15 minutes...do 10 or even five. Just put your responsibilities down and recharge that joy meter. ⚡️
