Coffee makes me happy

Those who know me, know that I have MAD LOVE for coffee. But, would you believe that there was a time in my not-so-long-ago life that I DESPISED coffee?

Like, couldn’t even handle the smell of it. 🤢

BUT, did you know that there is actual scientifically-proven BENEFITS to drinking coffee?

Just a disclaimer, I don’t mean those fancy schmancy sugar-laden coffees (although they’re quite delish). Black is ideal (from a health benefits perspective, tastebuds would you tell you otherwise) but, I just use a little bit of protein shake in mine.

According to science, it has benefits like protecting you from certain diseases, which is a fabulous — yay for increasing longevity!

I like it for the improvement in energy level, physical performance and fat burning — which is exactly why I drink a cup about 45-60 minutes before I work works for me! 🤷🏻‍♀️

All-in-all, it’s a pretty darn cool bean. One that I am super happy that I FINALLY welcomed into my life. ☕️💕
